Who we are

Spyld Gaming operates the website spyld.com. For data-protection purposes we are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@spyld.com.

What we collect directly

Very little. There are no user accounts on this site, no newsletter sign-up that stores your address on our servers, and no comment system.

  • Email correspondence. If you email us, we hold that email and your address for as long as needed to deal with it, and then in an archive for up to 24 months so we can trace the history of a correction.
  • Server logs. Our host records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for 30 days and are not used to build any profile of you.
  • Site search. Nothing. The search index is downloaded to your browser and matching happens locally on your device. Your search terms are never transmitted to us.
  • Our calculators and tools. Nothing. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent anywhere and are gone when you close the tab.

What third parties collect

Advertising

We display advertising to fund the site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on spyld.com. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices in the EU.

Third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads on this site and may use cookies or web beacons to measure their effectiveness. We do not control and cannot access those cookies. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics to count page views and see which articles are useful. It records aggregate figures — page, referrer, country, device type — and does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and cannot identify you across sites.

Legal bases for processing (UK/EU visitors)

  • Legitimate interests — security logging, aggregate analytics, and answering correspondence you initiate.
  • Consent — advertising and any non-essential cookies. Where consent is required, a consent notice is shown before those cookies are set, and you can withdraw consent at any time through that notice.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise any right, email hello@spyld.com from the address concerned and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Because much of our Roblox coverage is read by parents, we take this seriously: if you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it. Advertising served on pages we identify as likely to reach a child audience is restricted to non-personalised ads.

International transfers

Our host and our advertising partners may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent approved mechanism.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. We hold almost no personal data by design, which is the most effective security measure available to us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the date at the top of this page changes and, for material changes, we will note the change on the homepage for 30 days.
