Terms of use
By using this site you agree to what follows. It is short, and it is written to be readable rather than to be impressive.
Last updated 12 August 2026
1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of spyld.com. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised version.
2. What this site is
Spyld Gaming publishes technical guides, troubleshooting steps, opinions and free browser-based tools relating to video games and gaming hardware. It is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for support from the developer, publisher, platform or manufacturer of the product you are using.
3. Follow instructions at your own risk
Some articles describe changes to system settings, drivers, the Windows registry, firmware or BIOS. Those changes can, in the wrong circumstances, cause instability, data loss or damage. We test what we publish and we flag the risky steps with warnings and a way to undo them, but you carry out those steps yourself and you do so at your own risk. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before you start.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, mirror or republish substantial portions of the site;
- use automated systems in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its hosting;
- use anything found here to breach a game’s terms of service, cheat, or gain an unfair advantage over other players;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
5. Intellectual property
All original text, layout, illustrations, code and tools on this site are © 2026–present Spyld Gaming, all rights reserved. You may quote short excerpts for review, commentary or news reporting provided you credit Spyld Gaming and link to the original article. You may not republish an article in full, translate and repost it, or feed it into a derivative content product without written permission.
6. Trademarks and third-party content
Game titles, platform names, hardware brands, logos and screenshots are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification, commentary and criticism. Spyld Gaming is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game developer, publisher or platform holder, including Roblox Corporation.
7. External links
We link out to sources, downloads and official documentation. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their security or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a described fix will resolve your particular problem, or that information remains accurate after a patch changes the underlying software.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spyld Gaming and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or hardware, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Tools
The calculators on this site run in your browser and produce estimates based on the figures you enter and the assumptions stated on each tool page. They are decision aids, not guarantees. Verify anything you are about to spend money on.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
