That sounds like a small thing. It is not. The single most common complaint I see about codes lists is that half of them are dead, and the reason is that most sites publish a list once, let it rank, and never open it again. A code list is a maintenance job, not an article.
How code redemption works
A Roblox code is a short string the developer registers on their own server, tied to a reward and usually a redemption limit. When you type it in, the game checks it against that list. This all happens developer-side, which is why codes are case-sensitive, why they can vanish without warning, and why nobody can "generate" one.
Where the redeem box hides in each game
There is no standard. Developers put the box wherever they feel like, and finding it is genuinely half the difficulty for a new player.
On mobile the buttons are often collapsed behind a small arrow at the screen edge. If you cannot find the codes field on a phone, rotate to landscape — several of these games hide UI elements in portrait mode.

There is no code, generator, site or Discord bot that gives free Robux. Roblox does not issue Robux codes outside of official gift cards and Premium. Anything claiming otherwise wants your password or your gift card serial. This is the single most common way young Roblox accounts get stolen.

How often do these codes actually change?

Why did a code work for my friend but not for me?
Three usual reasons. Most codes are one-time-per-account, so if you already redeemed it on an alt you may be seeing a silent failure.
