Roblox Error Code 805 Explained
805 means the place you are trying to reach does not exist for you. There are four reasons that can be true.
The short answer
Roblox error code 805 means the requested place could not be found or is not accessible to your account, which happens when an experience has been removed, made private, restricted to a group, or moderated. Because the place is genuinely unavailable rather than temporarily failing, retrying does not help. Checking whether the experience still appears in search identifies which of the causes applies.

Error 805 is a flat statement that the place is not there for you. It is one of the few codes where retrying genuinely accomplishes nothing.
Four things produce it, and one quick check narrows them to two.
Search is the diagnostic
If the experience does not appear in Roblox search, it was removed or moderated. If it does appear, you are hitting an access restriction.

If the experience is visible and others are playing, the restriction is on your account rather than the place.
The common gates are:
- Group membership. Some experiences require you to join a specific group first. The requirement is usually stated on the game page.
- Age rating. Experiences carry age recommendations, and accounts below the threshold cannot enter. This cannot be worked around and should not be.

- Region availability. Rare, but some experiences are restricted geographically.

Does 805 mean the game was banned?
Moderation is one of four possibilities, alongside deletion by the developer, being set to private, and group restriction. The code does not distinguish between them because from the client's view all four mean the same thing. A moderated experience typically disappears from search entirely, which is a useful signal.
Why can my friend play it and I cannot?
Almost certainly an access restriction rather than a fault. Experiences can be limited to members of a group, restricted by age rating, or unavailable in certain regions. Your friend meeting a condition you do not is the usual explanation, and joining the relevant group is often all that is required.
Will the game come back?
If the developer privated it for maintenance, usually within days. If it was moderated or deleted, generally not. There is no way to tell from the error code itself, so the developer's community or social channels are the only reliable source of information.
