Error 2110-3127 is the Switch error people see most, and it comes with a specific frustration: run the connection test and it passes.
That is not a contradiction. The test proves you can reach the internet. It does not prove you can reach Nintendo.
Why the test lies
The connection test checks general internet access. If DNS cannot resolve Nintendo's domains, or a firewall blocks their ports, everything else still works and the test still passes.
Step 1: Create a fresh network profile with manual DNS

Go to System Settings, Internet, Internet Settings. Rather than editing your existing network, select it and choose Change Settings, then set DNS Settings to Manual. Enter 8.8.8.8 as primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary. Save and test. If that fails, delete the network entirely and add it again from scratch with the same manual DNS, because the console caches values against a profile and editing can leave stale entries behind.

Step 2: Rule out the router's own filtering
The phone hotspot test is the fastest single diagnostic. If the Switch connects to Nintendo through your phone but not through your router, the router is filtering something and you know exactly where to look.
